Our 300 room Blackpitts Student Housing Project in the Liberties has been shortlisted in the Irish Design Institute Awards 2020. Completed in 2018 the project has been shortlisted from a total of 473 entries with the winners announcements being made during the next two weeks. We are delighted to see the project continuing to compete for design awards at the highest level, following success in the 2019 Irish Building and Design Awards and shortlisting in the upcoming 2020 Irish Construction Excellence Awards which are being held remotely in November. The Institute of Designers in Ireland is the largest and oldest association of Irish design professionals, and longest established creative forum in Ireland. The IDI also awards the country’s most prestigious and longest-standing annual design awards, which are open to entries from graduate and professional members alike. As well as Structures and Spaces, the awards recognise projects and products by Irish designers in the diverse worlds of Fashion and Textiles, Product, Digital and Visual Communications.
