With World Green Building Week 2023 nearly upon us, we are delighted to be partnering with our friends at Cundall and with the Irish Green Building Council for an in-person event, "Re-Imagining a Climate Resilient Built Environment" at the Westin Hotel, Dublin.
Shay Cleary Architects Director John Dobbin will join the panel alongside David Feighery, Associate Cundall and Derry Kearney, Partner Cundall, and Marion Jammet, Head of Policy and Advocacy with the Irish Green Building Council, for a discussion and debate about how we can design for resilience, retrofit for lower energy demand and address climate risk. John will present a short introduction to the work of the practice in the field of Low-Carbon Office to Residential/ Hotel/ Student conversions, and the opportunities for radical reuse of existing first generation office buildings in Ireland.
